Terms of Service

Last updated: 5/31/2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These Terms govern your use of ChopCheap (the "Service"), operated by Zedi International ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be of legal age to enter into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. The Service

ChopCheap helps users discover and compare community-submitted grocery prices. Listings are user-generated samples — we make no warranty as to accuracy and you should confirm prices at the point of sale.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

5. Intellectual property

We retain all right, title and interest in and to the Service, including the software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. You retain rights to content you submit and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

6. Payments, subscriptions, refunds and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See our Refund Policy for refund details.

7. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Zedi International is established, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its competent courts, except where mandatory consumer-law rules in your country of residence apply.

13. Contact
